| A brief life
history:- Born in Wigan, Lancashire, UK, in 1949
Beach Road County Primary School, Litherland, Liverpool 21 MTS, Crosby. I don't think they helped me at all, and I don't want to give them any support or encouragement UMIST Manchester, 1967 to1970, studying Metallurgy Cardiff, South Wales, 1970 to 1980, including worked at GKN steel works, joined Friends of the Earth, played rugby for Old Illtydians RFC, drank lots of beer in the 'Royal Oak', joined the Theosophical Society, and later ran Relay Bookshop Findhorn Foundation, Morayshire, Scotland, 1980 to 1987. I worked in the Publications Department, Cluny housecare, Phoenix Shop, and finally the Guest Department, where I led many experience weeks Bad Mergentheim and Weikersheim, Baden-Wuerttemburg, Germany, in 1987 Epsom, Surrey, from 1987 to present time. I was the Chair of Epsom Common Association from 1994 to 2000. I sing with Epsom Choral Society,I am a member of the Epsom Common (WM) Club, etc. Henry Butcher and Company, 50/51 High Holborn, London WC1V 6EG - auction organiser with HB from 1991 to 1998, specialising initially in computer auctions, later in audio and video collective sales University of East London, Centre for Institutional Studies - I recieved am MSc in "Public and Community Service" from UEL in 2004. My dissertation involved the development of a "discourse toolbox" which I used for an in-depth study of UK food policy. Neu-Isenburg, near Frankfurt-am-Main, at the Agfa factory from 2000 to 2001 For a year from October 2001, I lived in Brussels, Belgium, creating some websites, writing, and editing a CD-ROM on Rainwater Harvesting for Verlag Margraf, and enjoying the city (and beer) I returned to Epsom in October 2002, and have set up my own website hosting business - Woodlands Web (just click on the logo above for more information). Since Jan 2005 I have been running PartnerCHIP, a small compost campaign which hires out shredders, and provides compost demonstrations 2007-9, National Treasurer of the Theosophical Society in England 2009, I administer Mole Valley LETS, and am helping to get Transition Epsom started http://transitionepsom.org.uk/ social network http://transitionepsom.ning.com/ 150 years ago, I would have gone away to sea !! |
